A great picture, this guy is one my fav bossess. But I think Pazuzu may be also seen as a mobile update to Dracula's Castlevania 3 Final form, which also resembled Pazuzu, as both have feathery wings, and I think Pazuzu in HoD is supposed to have a more leonine/canine mouth, like the mythological Pazuzu, although indeed, I think he's also partialy based on theΒ Leviathan Gargoyle. Not to mention, he's sealed in Dracula's throne room....
