Often times one may find Dax at the firing range hoping to improve on his existing skills or try developing new ones. He believes in more than a single approach to a problem, though when he finds one he finds the most reasonable he will stick to it.

He thinks not-so-highly of himself and tells himself that there's always room for improvement, further reinforced by his handler, Zelena. As a result, he tries his best to at least meet her expectations of him on his own. It is common for him to refuse assistance.

Being concentrated on his task makes him more of the silent kid who only speaks when spoken to, or when he feels like he may add to the conversation, even if it's a sarcastic comment that are oftentimes without substance. That being said, he isn't exactly afraid to put in his two cents, not sugar coating whatever childish insult he could come up with. He can be politely rude.

His behaviour can make him unpredictable, as the act comes first before thought. Many times does he blame any reckless action on his part on 'instinct'.

Likes and Dislikes:

Food. He believes that food makes him focus and also, hey, good food. (particularly likes sour and bitter foods/candies)
De-stressing. During his free time he would read comic books and aspire to be like his favourite superheroes. Birds. Whenever he sees some flying outside and if he had a piece of bread with him he wouldn't give a second thought in feeding them and taking a small moment out of the job.
Getting his handler's approval, or praise.

Seeing his handler get hurt. Though they don't always see eye to eye he needs to protect Zelena, and will not allow any physical action against her.
Having his downtime being disturbed. He doesn't normally care for a lot of noise, but he does get irked with too much of it that it exhausts him.
Not getting his handler's approval. This pushes him to work harder, but that doesn't mean that he isn't heavily insulted.

Biography:

'Dax' was the only child of a middle class couple. Later on as he grew up he never could figure out why his parents would shout at each other every other night whenever he pressed his ear to his bedroom door, followed by his mother shrieking inaudibly. His father always seemed to come back home with a broken bottle, which he also couldn't figure out the contents of either.

Oftentimes did he find himself wanting to help his mother but never did gather up the courage to do so, since his father did scold him a couple of times for eavesdropping, and more than once was he rapped on the head hard enough to hurt for a while. As a child Dax couldn't understand the concepts, but he did feel useless for being unable to do anything.

What did land him in a hospital with the lack of a right forearm and right leg along with partial blindness was a car accident that had his father on the wheel while he had a little too much to drink the night before. The three were meant to go a family vacation to 'spend time together' (courtesy of his mother), but the vehicle had slid off the road and into a forest, hitting more than just a couple of trees as the car flipped as it fell down the slope.

The memory wipe didn't get rid of that instinct to do better for himself, so now he tries his hardest to get the job done as a cyborg and get the message sent across if there was one to send. At the moment his goals are 1) do his job well, and 2) get Zelena to compliment him.

Relationships:

Zelena Green (Handler): He respects her as his handler whom he knows has an impressive skillset , though often compares their relationship to the other cyborgs in the sense that she doesn't treat him as more than a 'plaything'. He also questions her methods in conditioning and/or encouraging him. He aims to get her to think of him as more than another cyborg assigned to her.
