Why no lips? If you're gonna use the extant phylogenetic bracketing argument, just remember early crocodile-line archosaurs have skulls more consistent with having lips too.
Other than that it's a gorgeous piece.

Not really, nowhere in the Carr et al paper on Daspletosaurus was liplessness explicitly mentioned, it's just people who prefer the lipless aesthetic took and it and blew it way out of proportion. Plus all of those teeth poking out always looked goofy for me. Applicable for a cartoony/stylized drawing, but for serious paleontological reconstructions, lips are preferable.
Keep in mind, not every dinosaur had lips. Spinosaurids may have been an exception, and birds of course are an exception.

That dino definetly does not have the problem I have with fingernails.
