I was curious if this was done from a photograph? The problem with painting from photos is that they introduce distortions of perspective that the artist needs to correct. In this case because the hands are outside the focal range of the camera... they wind up appearing too small in relationship to the size of the head. Distortions like these are the danger of working with photo reference because the lens of the camera due to being rounded will cause small proportion inaccuracies. But a lovely job painting this!

Did you paint this from a live model or a photograph? Because if you used a photo the distortions are the result of the camera. Perhaps you havent drawn from live models enough to see where its off yet. If you are only drawing from printed images and photographs... you are copying the distortions that the photo creates. When you have experience drawing from live models... you know what you have to fix due to the distortions a camera creates.
