12.5.16 Phhheewwww!! :'D After some brainstorming with my lovely wife, I've hashed out some vague plans for where I will put Whisperpaw, due to WAU closing. I can't let go of this bab who is too much like me to put into words. So keep an eye out for her sometime in the (relatively far? LOL fine tune dem dets) future!

|| | HICCUPFOOT | FATHER ("Daddy")There's never a doubt in my mind that my siblings and I -- older, younger, and same age -- were very well loved in our family. Daddy was a big part of that. He wasn't as tall as Papa, but I used to crawl over his shoulders when I was a kit. I got too big to do that as I got older (bOO), but I used to still try anyway, even though he always laughed and pushed me away. No matter what, though, he was there for Shay and I, and our older siblings, if we needed him there. It's strange not to be able to just go into the warriors' den and bug him or talk to him anymore. I really hope he's happy with Mummy and Papa.
|| | BERRYROSE | MOTHER ("Mummy")You know, Mummy was this elegant, respected queen. She was a little stern, but she always loved us, and I knew that. She used to get soooo mad whenever I tried to sneak out of camp!! When she got pregnant, I stopped, 'cause I didn't want to stress her out anymore. StarClan, though, even when I was almost an apprentice, she used to grab my out of nowhere and groom my fur! I'd still cuddle with her, but I can groom my own pelt, thanks. I used to wish someone would tell her that, 'cause no matter how much I said it, she'd ignore me and groom me anyway >: I miss her a ton.
|| | NIGHTFROST | FATHER ("Papa")Papa was probably the tallest cat through the Clans! 'Kay, maybe not the tallest, but he was the strongest and the bravest. I looked the most like him, I think...although the one thing we definitely didn't have in common was height, 'cause he towered above me. Before he died, I'd been growing like a weed. The plus side of still being so small was that I could hang over his back while he walked around camp. He used to call me his 'Mini Me.' I hope he's keeping Mummy and Daddy happy in StarClan. She died before he and Daddy did, from what Brooksplash said, not that it helped anything. Shay, Cressie, and I grieved for a long time and still are.
|| | CRESCENTSTAR | SISTER ("Cressie")Oh, yeah! Cressie's leader of the Clan. She was there for us when our parents died. She's busy, of course, 'cause she's Clan leader, but...she helped a lot. Sometimes she'd come into the nursery with us. It's always on the tip of my tongue to tell her that Daddy, Papa, and Mummy would totally be proud of her, but that might sound awkward coming from me, so I don't say it. I suppose I coulda had some leverage to get what mentor I wanted when she became leader (can you imagine if it was her? Although apparently cats don't mentor their kin, 'cause they might be too soft on them), but who she chose is an okay choice, too, I suppose. I trust her judgment!!!

| RIVERBLOSSOM, FIELDPOPPY, GORSEPAWLife was not kind to my older siblings. I remember when we first heard about Gorsepaw, everyone was so shocked. He died during an incident out by the borders. I still don't know the whole story about that, but I suspect those nasty MorningClan cats did something to him. It's because of what happened to him that I've sworn to become the best warrior ever and avenge him. Later, Riverblossom and Fieldpoppy died of the same greencough that took Mum, Papa, and Daddy, so I guess MorningClan is in the clear for that...unless they actually poisoned them. Anyway, I miss them a lot. Riverblossom was funny and Fieldpoppy always made time for me when I wanted...
| | SHADOWPAW | SISTER ("Shay")Some cats don't get to have sisters as great as mine. Shay and I used to be attached at the hip, and as we grew up, we met other cats -- but that doesn't mean we don't find each other again when it's time to snuggle and chat about the day when we go to our nests in the apprentices' den. I specifically made my nest close to hers, actually! ;v; I can't even begin say just how much I love my sister, and I'll claw anyone who thinks they can hurt her...well, she'd probably take care of them first, but still.

I don't hate them, but I don't adore them, either...okay, maybe I do, but don't remind me. I do like them, I'll admit, and I even got to name Lightningkit!! Cressie says Shay and I should be warriors by the time they become apprentices; I wouldn't mind getting one of them as my first apprentice...

I still like to make him angry by calling him Mr. Lion, even if he does flick me on the forehead (whiCH HURTS) every time I talk to him. Fight me, Mr. Lion, fight me rn.

She puts up with me being dumb, and I put up with her being...well, actually, I guess I'm the only one getting something out of this, 'cause she's perfect. Things are even better as apprentices!

That would have been embarrassing. He's too young to have been involved with what (might have) happened with Gorsepaw, so I gave him the benefit of the doubt on that. I'm still gonna report him crossing the border, however, even if he claimed it was on accident!! Nobody is gonna be calling me a MorningClan sympathizer or advocate for those fox-hearts to keep doing what they're doing to my Clan. I'm sure he'll turn out to be just like the rest of them as he gets older <_< ...foxdung, he was good-looking, though. I must admit, he was so handsome that he coulda attacked me and I'd have probably thanked him. Those markings and eyes with that dark ginger-red fur...aNYWAY, best not mention the whole handsome part to Flurryheart and Crescentstar when I report to them. Yikes. MorningClanners are nothing but trouble. Maybe good trouble. I 'unno. Shush. But then I have to report myself??? For crossing, too????? Sigh.
HISTORY
Kithood, 1-6 Moons || December 5th, 2015
- Firstborn to Nightfrost, Berryrose, and Hiccupfoot
- Has three older siblings: the then-apprentices Crescentpaw, Gorsepaw, Riverpaw, and Fieldpaw
- Gorsepaw died due to an incident out on patrol, which Whisperkit didn't really understand
- Started pestering everyone in camp bc she's a little bit of a twat
- Led many attempted escapes from the camp with some of her nursery friends (again: twat)
- Tried to learn to swim with one of her friends outside camp but was (again) caught
- Bumped into Grizzlybear and bugged him before getting flicked on the forehead for improper grammar
- Riverblossom, Fieldpoppy, and Crescentmoon became warriors; she got to watch their ceremony
- Crescentmoon was made deputy of NightClan, and soon afterward, the leader
- Pestered cats to tell her more about MorningClan, bc she was determined to kick MorningClan butt as an apprentice
- Finally reached six moons with Shadowkit, much to everyone's relief
Apprenticeship, 6-12 Moons || May 7th, 2016
- Named an apprentice alongside Shadowpaw
- Was given ??? as her mentor, which she was unsure about, but okay, Crescentstar
- Found out his mother was pregnant and became grumpy about it
- His older siblings (baring Crescentmoon ) perished sometime during leaf-bare due to greencough
- The same greencough stuck around and Berryrose fell ill because of this
- Most of the Clan remained ill because of the rampancy of the greencough, too, even in newleaf
- Berryrose went into labor and gave birth to Lilykit, Lightningkit, Maplekit, and Frogkit
- The strain of birth and still being ill from the greenough got to Berryrose, and she died
- Soon after, Hiccupfoot and Nightfrost joined StarClan as well, both from grief and greencough
- Grieved and became dismal, sullen, and irritable to all except for Shadowpaw and Crescentstar
- Has started up her shenanigans again bc yeah, she's still a twat; just had temporary relapse
- Accidentally met Reedpaw of MorningClan on the border and (sorta) befriended him awkwardly

* EXTRA TRIVIA - Because he's been in the making so long, I have several pages of trivia; instead of trying to fit it all here, I linked them. Otherwise, this ref would go on forever OTL
* He's very easily infatuated and is what some call a serial crusher bc he "falls in love" quickly -- note quotations, because it's not love, but he thinks it is. She's a 'wonder who my crush of the day is' kind of cat and has multiple infatuations at the same time. Serial crushing used to be a bad habit of mine, and like myself, his crushes are (usually...9.8 times out of 10) harmless baby ones. When he truly does have a crush that goes past infatuation, you'll know bc he's horrible at lying!
* For her infatuations, she needs consistent interaction with them to stay longer than a few weeks, but otherwise, they fade relatively fast. There is also a difference between her fleeting infatuations and genuine crushes. Crushes happen a lot less often; infatuations are nearly every cat that she talks to properly, but genuine crushes are 1 for every 7 cats or some ridiculous number like that
* In a human AU, she goes by the unisex name Wynn. His parents let him pick his name when she discovered he was bigender and nobody knows her real name except his parents and biological siblings, especially since they were homeschooled for a short time
* Hogwarts House would be Ravenclaw (my House ♥), and he's a pureblood. Best subjects are Charms, Defense Against the Dark Arts, and Alchemy. He hates Potions "because it's confusing and there's too much stuff goin' on at one time!"
* If she were in an Olympians AU, she'd be a claimed child of Apollo; weapon is a bow named Καταστροφή, or Katastrofí, which translates as Catastrophe. During the war (if I'm honest), I imagine she'd side with Kronos, but as redemption after, she'd become a Hunter of Artemis. Considering her constant infatuations, it's kinda hilarious, because Hunters are forbidden from falling in love or risk being "disowned." B) In any case, Wynn is much better at keeping her emotions in check in this 'verse. Dang...tbh, I half-wanna rp her meeting someone and risking everything, though! Her struggles at being bigender as a Hunter would be a lot more magnified, too, though, especially when you look at where the Hunters stand
* Whisperpaw's Disney character counterpart would be Flynn from Tangled, Rita (brown Saluki) from Oliver and Company, or Princess Jasmine from Aladdin >w<
