Finally got around to doing one of the pokemon memes and of course I had to pick my baby.
Some brief thoughts on a few of them: The ridged are probably one of the most docile breeds out there and bred for companionship; Volcanic swim in lava and around hydrothermal vents; Cascades prefer rapids and waterfalls; and the streamlined are bred for speed and used in races as well as rescues.

Both the Purebred and the Volcanic look too similar... Maybe if you gave Volcanic Charizard's tail-flame, they'd stand out easier.

Tail flame was initially considered, but I thought it made it look too much like a Charizard and I like how the differences for the volcanic are very subtle compared to the others. In my mind a tail flame would be on the hybrid if the Charizard was the mother, where as here the mother's a Dragonite.
