I'm not a fan of the movie per se, it's very well made, as you can't expect anything less from Kubrick, but I just love the visuals, this movie was definitely ahead of its time.Related content

I mean I like it, but mostly from a visual standpoint, as it looks outstanding. I guess there were some redemptive qualities that Alex had in the book that were taken out in the film, and I feel that would've helped it.

yeah, supposedly kubrick read the published version without the last chapter that had alex as a responsible adult or whatever. i dont know...i tried reading through it years ago and it was a tough read with all the accents and slang so i never finished it.
anyway, his film was based on that version iirc.

Indeed, it's a well made movie! I'm not a fan either but I like watching it (i watched it 2-3 times in french and a dozen of time in english x) )

I mean, I do like it, it's just not my favorite Kubrick. It's definitely a film that makes you think though.
