Description
Some quickie fremen sketches from Dune.Really hope the new film takes advantage of how strange the stillsuits are; vaguely intestinal, sun-beaten, personalized. My biggest fear is that it'll look like leather superhero armor.

I wonder if the new film will go more in the David Lynch vision or more the Frank Hebert vision if you know what I mean.

From what the director has said, he wants to distance the new film as much from Lynch's and as close to the book as possible, which I definitely think is the right decision.

A new dune movie? I hope they do well. I like this take on the stillsuits. I have yet to read the books, but I already like these better than the ones in the movie.

Well, technically not a remake, but re-adapting the story; it seems to want to distance itself as much as possible from Lynch's film, which is a smart move.
But yeah, so far, the cast is stellar! And the guy directing it is the one behind the new Blade Runner sequel, which was quite good, I thought. He's admitted to being a big fan of Dune and very familiar with the source material, so I'm really optimistic about it!
