As my husband Will remarked, "She'll make your bed rock."I don't know if it's because I just had a baby myself, but I find the idea of Toph as a wife/mother hilarious (in a good "I-hope-we-get-to-see-her-domesticate way"). I can't decide if I want her potential husband to be a skinny, sensitive nerd or a huge built badass. Somewhere I read that she had an arranged marriage, but I don't remember who said that or if it has any credibility so for now I'll just wait and make suggestive comics.
EDIT: GUYS, believe it or not, I KNOW that people have babies in non-marital relationships that are not one-night-stands. But having Toph say, "hey, we're in a loving, committed relationship, let's have a baby" packs a little less comedic punch than her getting knocked up.

LOL nice, and I think Toph's husband is "the Dark One" because he hates his name and is like Lin and he probably took Toph's last name to have a less embarrassing name, and he probably died before Lin was born because of the equalists.

Well I read somewhere that Bei Fong is of Chinese heritage and since she's still royalty it's plausible that she MUST keep her last name in order to preserve her royalty. And she was an only child e.o

People can be bor in marriage and have their mother's maiden name. We are never given evidence this is an old-fashioned society when it comes to gender roles (except Northern Water Tribe?) xD

I believe Toph would soften up slightly as in the "still brash, loud, but thereΒ΄s a big maternal instinct under all the bravado"...
