Actually Roman works pretty well in fantasy.

Nice job. Looks like Romans fighting Normans, which historically innaccurate but you did say this is a fantasy world.

Yup, the universe in this game isn't really accurate.. it's more of fantasy with romans in it... lol Thanks! XD

This is easily one of the top 5 paintings I've seen on DA - it's simply awesome! Everything from the chainmail  - to the horses - to the Roman armor is spot on! Well done sir - well done!

This is totally sweet, I like how the two guys at the bottom are looking at each other like "We're about to die!". There's also great positioning here.

Wow this looks great! Very roman feel to it, you got the colors just right too! I absolutly love when people spend much time on detail like you have, especially on the things you are meant to focus on - in this case, the front horse and rider. Added to my favorites without a doubt!!

Very dynamic.  I love the skewed perspective, sort of forces the viewer into the scene, as if they are one of the foot soldiers.  Does it retain that effect when it's cropped for the card?

DeivCalviz In reply to ArynChris [2015-01-26 15:11:40 +0000 UTC]

Thanks!  I'm glad you liked it Unfortunately, the card might crop out the soldiers below since the card is only about the strike of the cavalry. Still, this was a very challenging piece that I'm proud of.
