No he isn't. Actually I started "The Wheel of Time" a year ago and I'm into Book 9 (out of 14 - 15 with the prequel) now.
Apart from that I'll re-read Conan (Sword and Sorcery but still epic), Kull, Solomon Kane, Bran Mak Morn, His Dark Materials... I can pass the time, you know, it's just so frustrating.
