Description I sewed this dress in last years' summer. Was a lot of fun (and backpain) ! Sewed my first zipper in a dress and handling the velvet was a pain in the ass sometimes.. stretch-velvet!! Never again.. well, probably never will never happen. It's the same with chiffon. Shitty to handle.. but too beautiful to not use it <3

What a lovely fabric on that dress And I like the black velvet you used for the hemlines. The bow would be a little too much for my taste, but it looks good an the dress

Thank you for your detailed comment! I found the fabric on a textiles market and instantly fell in love with it I always wanted to do a dress with deep black velvet hemlines. The bow is indeed big, but because it's the only decoration on the dress, I thought it's something like an eyecatcher ^_^ I made the headbow in the same style and my black shoes got a strap with pearls so this detail repeats in the outfit.
