Description
This one's one of my favorite paintings so far. It certainly took me a while ^_^ It's Kaguya, the bamboo girl, with Mr. Bamboo, both from Okami.

SPOILERS:

Kaguya discovers later on in the game that she came from space, she and Amaterasu having uncovered an underground rocketship in the bamboo forest. It turns out that she had been adopted and raised by Mr. Bamboo when she came from space as a child, and now wants to return there to learn more about her mysterious past. He begs her not to go, even though she must.

The kanji means "daughter," and I chose that because it seemed to me Kaguya was like a daughter to Mr. Bamboo; it was so evident how sad he was to see her leave :/ It was very touching, very bittersweet. I had to paint it ^^
