I really like this one, especially given the title. I had an initial reaction to the painting, and then had to reevaluate it in light of the name. I'm still working out my precise thoughts, but the binding over the eyes makes the person seem bound on the one hand, and then, coupled with the light color and upward face, hopeful on the other. Perhaps she's waiting to be saved? This is simply how I interrupted the painting, and wanted to express my appreciation. Nice work!
