As with most Ligers, Delay's build clearly resembles a mix between a regular Lioness and a Tigress (note: she's technically a 'Pointed Liger', which is a Liger who is bred with a Pointed Lion. A Pointed Lion differs only slightly from your average Lion - they have longer, slimmer limbs and tails, more pointed ears and features, longer fur, and abnormal forked tongues). Her muscles are a lot more taught and profound, build both for the speed of a tiger and the strength of a lion. Her nose is abnormally curved downward, giving her face a bit of a more pointed look. Her colors consist of of a plethora of tan browns shades, with subtle stripes all along her pelt. She has more profound, unique stripes adorning her long tail. On her right year, she has two rips, while there are three on her left ear. And while it's not immediately noticeable, she has a bite scar under the fur on her neck from an attack long ago. Additionally, there are various nicks and scars lining her pelt from various battles. Her eyes are a golden color, while the sclera is black. The fur on her tail tuft is a ginger red.

On the surface, Delay is a calm, collected Liger. She doesn't speak all that much, and instead chooses to observe and decide within her mind before she speaks her words out loud. She's very analytical, decisive, quick to understand a situation and judge what exactly would be the best course of action. Some might say she's rather fit to be a leader - but she doesn't necessarily agree. Delay sees her position less than that of a leader and more as a comrade, willing to stick by the sides of her pack rather than jump in the lead and force them to follow her orders. That isn't to say she's not readily able to take charge, of course, and she can be found giving orders and solving a conflict before she can even realize as such herself. Leading the pack has become second nature to her - whether she likes it or not.

Delay is a fighter. She's very protective of her pack, and she will do anything to keep them from getting harmed. She's strong, and she will not hesitate to stand in the way of danger, warding off any threat that comes near. Delay has a very strong moral code, and that is: to defend anyone who needs defending. Through her life, she's faced difficult positions where she and her family were in danger and no one ever cared to help them. She never wanted to see that happen to anyone else. She will go out of her way to help someone in her pack, and will fight tooth and nail to ensure everyone survives. She will hold a grudge, and she can be ruthless to anyone who she has deemed her enemy.

Futher through her more closed shell, however, one can find Delay's truer personality. She's more of a child at heart, and would much rather spend time with her more closer friends then have to face her responsibilities as a leader. She's sarcastic and playful with those closer to her, always making jokes and bringing laughter out of anyone she can. She's sweet and caring, always willing to listen - to her close friends or to anyone else in the pack that needs the support. She wants everyone to be happy and to feel safe and secure when they're with her.

Given a complex history, Delay has a rather delicate temper. She can be angered quickly, and has a hard time controlling herself whenever she's in a sort of 'rage' state. It was, however, a lot worse before than it is now, so calming herself is a lot easier than it might have been a long time ago. However, she can still be impulsive when she's angry, and if none of her closer friends are there to help her relax, she might make more rash, dangerous decisions that she would learn to regret in her more stable state.

Romantically, Delay is actually quite comically awkward. She's never had the time nor the patience to find romance before, and so whenever it finally arrived, she didn't know what to do. She gets flustered extremely easily, and might end up forcing herself into a silent state until she's well enough to handle herself again. However, she has improved once she fell in love with Velore - but she can still be seen stumbling over her words if he were to give her a sudden compliment.

[ History. ]
Delay was born to a small family of Rogues living in the Southern Lands who was constantly on the move. As it turned out, the Southern Lands was home to many different affiliations, ranging from peaceful groups to bloodthirsty rogues. With nothing but their health to call their own, Delay's family had to ensure their safety by moving from one place to another as to not run into a random dangerous group. Delay hated living like this; she would often insist that they find a permanent place to settle instead of having to scrape by in order to avoid conflict. Her parents simply insisted that she would not understand their reasons until she was older, but Delay, being the stubborn cub that she was, would never accept their situation.

Over time, she began to dedicate herself to helping her family and, surprisingly, helping others. They weren't the only independent Rogues out here, after all; Delay would see others who were in need of help, yet were denied any sort. Once Delay grew old enough to survive on her own, she worked to help others, fending off any predators and assisting in any way she could. Over time, she became something of a vigilante, fighting the hostile ones and protecting the weak. And through her years of fighting, she made few, but strong, friendships and began to shift her life into a more solid one. She settled down from her fighting days and founded Carpe Diem with the intention of sheltering any and all who were willing to unite in order to help the world.

It wasn't long before Carpe Diem began to grow into something amazing - but with all good things comes a sort of evil. Delay learned that she was part of a particular bloodline that was connected to the Great Ancestors, and once she reached a certain age, her Ancestor began to take possession of her body, calling forth an army of Shadows in order to seek revenge on the world. With the help of her pack and her other Ancestor, they managed to strike him down and reclaim Delay's mind and the minds of those around her.

After Carpe Diem temporarily disbanded, Delay stayed behind with her mate, Velore, and with any of her close friends who wanted to remain by her side. And now, with spirits high, she is recalling anyone, old or new, who is willing to stand with her in order to bring protection to the land once again.
