ugh! tis finally done! took me 3 days to do. but considering how it came out, i thnk it was well worth it.

for he wanted someone to do a more realistic portrait, so i figured, why not? itd be fun, and help me with realism. the scales took me the longest. actually drawing them and then giving almost every single one highlights. thas what took me the longest. that and the background. i still suck. i almost did mountains, but i always do them. i challenged myself and did a forest, cuz im not the greatest at drawing trees, nevermind a bunch of em. his hind legs are kinda funky. they werent liking me. i literally drew them at least 5 times over. the lineart was done with pencil and scanned in. takes out the black lineart and adds to the realism, since not everything in life is outlines in black.

oh and by the way, i learned how to scales this way from shes the same one who put up the tutorial on contrast lighting like on my Death Green pic. its on the same turorial. she puts a bunch of lil tips in one tutorial on coloring. she makes thngs like this easy. before i saw her tutorial, i had no idea how ppl were able to pull of realistic scales and lighting like that. if yu want tips on how to color and how to do scales and hair realisticly, i soooo recommend her. she is easy to understand amd breaks it down for ya.
