sta.sh/028hpke1hp56i was doing a bunch of cleaning last week and redisovered my collection of old sketchbooks dating back to late elementary school. it was really nostalgic going through some of them, seeing my old work and how much i used to love drawing compared to now. in an attempt at recapturing that old creative spark, i decided to redraw something and.. had a lot of fun with it, actually

Ooh, the painted and a bit rough texture on this is plain delicious.
I love the mute but far from dull colors and markings. Very natural looking!
I also enjoy the tall stance, short tail and neck skin.
Much fun comparing it to the older design. Looking at the old version, it's very... hmm... "just a dragon", but you still managed to re-design it into a unique creature without straying too far off the original.
