Description
Final concept for the Los'an, a water dragon of vicious temperament. The concept is for the tabletop RPG I'm helping to create, so at some point it'll be modeled and printed as a miniature. I'm so excited!

Looks like quite a vicious beastie. The shape of his muzzle makes me think it could be used like a battering ram, what with the little plates and horns. What I don't like about a lot of water creatures is how flimsy they look, like they could be snapped in half with a stiff breeze. You actually gave muscle and dimention to this creature. Even its fins look thick enough to leave bruises.

Indeed, I think the same thing. Mystical fragile water creatures are cool and all, but I wanted something big mean and scary. Mission accomplished. c:

My employer told me to post any concept work I do in an effort to garner attention. Unfortunately my employer has yet to give said RPG a title. It's full of dragons and weird magical science and stuff, though. It certainly caught my attention.

Probably not for a long while. I still need to get a bunch of models done and ready for the 3D printing. And on top of that there's still a lot of concepts we have yet to start. It's been kind of slow because we didn't have enough funding earlier, but we're picking up a bit of speed so it should start happening faster.
I can't wait for it to come out, either. It looks like it'll be very fun.

It's not the cost so much as the time it takes to do it all. We pretty much just started. First we need ideas. Then we need sketches. Then we need concepts. Then we need models. Then we need miniatures. Then there's all the other things. We need stats and abilities that make sense. We need to get all the paperwork done. Then there's the advertising and the packaging and all that stuff. More paperwork. It all just takes time. Lots of time.
This is concept number one out of many, many concepts I have yet to do. So it will take some time. But I'll let you know how it all works out. c:

that's cool man I was just thinking about some thing it wood be awesome if you can put one of your catchers in it's own ecosystem that will be awesome to look at you know eating something in the wild
but you don't have to do it, The animals are more amazing as they are know what I mean just think about it

That's a cool idea. I'm not great with backgrounds, so if I did something like that it would be an interesting change. I'll do something like that in the future, in my spare time. Need to finish these concepts!
