I really like Jirachi, and it would be cool if it got a Mega in ORAS. Normally I don't do Sugimori-styled art, but I decided to try my hand at it with this piece. I think it turned out nicely!

I was inspired a little by Mega Diancie with the ribbon/jewel accessories, which I thought would look cool on a Mega Jirachi. I had fun detailing all the gems, haha.

Beautiful! Easily my favorite design for mega Jirachi out there it reminds me a bit of mega Diancie, but mostly because of the scarf/ribbon things with gems at the ends.

I actually have some mock-up stats I wrote about a possible Mega Mew design I'm gonna work on in the future! I'll probably finish it sometime soon, since I'm done with all my backlogged commissions and I have some free time during the week now.

Such a lovely design. Guess I wasn't the only one to do a Mega Evolution of a cute event legendary (in my case Meloetta) upon being somewhat inspired by Mega Diancie. I like how the accessories add more blue to its overall color scheme and how those stars fit into its concept with shooting stars being said to fulfill wishes and it being able to do the same. Hopefully we'll get a Jirachi in the remakes because recently they announced an event for a shiny one in Japan to celebrate Tanabata. When it comes to Pokémon I certainly envy those people.

Thank you, I'm glad you like it! I'm hoping Jirachi is in the remakes in some form as well, and I'm hoping to get my hands on one of those shiny event Jirachis at some point. I don't care if I have to trade one of my shinies for it, I really love shiny Jirachi, haha.

Np It's just so good in every way. We really need a Jirachi event again. Being one of the event exclusives it can't be traded via GTS nor Wondertrade and they can't expect people to get Pokémon Channel these days just to get one. Shiny Jirachi looks neat too and I wonder what this Mega Evolution of yours would look like as a shiny.

Oh gosh, this looks fantastic, this is defiently what I want mega jirachi to look like I'm not usually a fan of fanmade megas either!
I love how you shade too, makes it look sort of sparkly.

Seeing her as my favorite legendary pokemon, if I'm going to have its feminine like mega, your art styl will be something I want to play and raise in pokemon amie, and battling. I just liked another entry of Mega Jirachi like yours taking a wise Gandalf like art style. 

Staying true to its roots with only little additions truly feel like the Jirachi that I once have in my youth.
