Another speed paint.Time taken 2.5hours
Corel Painter 9 single layer
Huge, dark and deep sea creatures with big mouth has always been a nightmare for me. I don't like them, so i draw them.

This is modeled after the eerie anglerfish of the deepsea. Added a spermwhale as its prey to show the size of the monster. Added more misty glow to the sides

i have the same for underwater creatures like you, i used to have a nightmare about the same creature every night when i was little. it was a little like this just no eyes and more bones could be seen

Nice, I could just imagine the fear I would feel if I dropped into the sea and saw that gigantic, enormous mouth coming towards me. Or that eye. I think the eye would freak me out the most. I'd probably choke to death trying to scream.

This pic gives a really cool feeling, seeing how this thing makes even a whale look small... what's even freakier is that it could really exist, seeing as we haven't explored the deepest parts of the ocean yet...
