At Pokecon while walking around I found this adorable strawberry bento box for only $8. I had been eyeing it online for some time and when I saw it I had to strike! (Especially for such a nice price) So here is my brand new bento box!It contains Sukiyaki in the top layer (boiled egg instead of raw - not as good, but will have to do) and a salad in the bottom).
This bento box is a LOT more than I normally eat. I actually ate the salad as a mid morning snack and had the sukiyaki for lunch. It was delicious and cute! Please Enjoy~

Haha what would you like to know? Honestly it sounds like you need more veggies in your life! If your bento doesn't have the five colors (red, yellow, green, white, black) in it it's not complete nutrition! But if you can just start adding in some greens I think you'll be alright haha. There are all kinds of veggies that are good for you. Spinach, Broccoli, Carrot, Sweet Potato, Cabbage. Why don't you look up some recipes for veggies and incorporate those into your bento?Β

The problem is I am only 17, and my parents barely let me fry an egg! ("You will burn down the kitchen!!"-quoted by my father) I do enjoy cooking at school however. I hope I can try to do more in the kitchen, I'd love to make some bento boxes with more vegetables.Β
I will look up some recipes in the meantime! (I love broccoli and sweet potatoes *---* even though i probably ate them once or twice a year haha) Hopefully I can make them buy something more than spaghetti.

By the time I was 17 I had been completely self sufficient in cooking and feeding myself for years. You won't burn down the kitchen and you can't learn if you don't try! They should have more faith in you. Especially since cooking isn't that hard
