Anyways can I just tell you how much I adore this piece?
I love how you made it a sort of companion piece to your other art where Stan gets shot. But tells his bro he's fine and not to worry.
I love that trope to pieces where characters who are grievously injured pretend they're fine or, hide their injuries for the sake of everyone else. This does seem like something Stan would do. They're in the middle of a fight, Stan doesn't want Ford to be distracted and risk getting injured. Stan doesn't want his brother to get hurt because of him.
I really adore the expression on Ford's face as he's realizing the GRAVITY ((EHHHH EHHHH~)) of the situation. That he is coming to understand that Stan hid his injury from him and is possibly now paying the price with his life. I also love how, instead ofcoloring everything like you did in the first piece, you made the background a saturation of oranges and you made Stan and Ford without any colors except the black line art and a mix of white and shadows.
I'm not sure if it was intentionally done or if you just were too tired to color Stan and Ford, but I think it looks fantastic. Because the way I see it the saturated oranges coupled with the black lineart and the white and shadow on Stan and Ford breathtakingly captures the utter bleakness of the situation and emphasizes the tragedy of losing a loved one.
I know you said that this story of yours is "sorta" completed in Smooth Sailing... but I had an idea come to mind with a not so happy ending, being the angsty little biz I am...
What I am trying to say is...
I am throughly inspired to do a short oneshot written piece based on this situation. However I wanted to receive your approval before I did so. So I humbly ask if I may write a piece based off of your superb artwork~

No, i dont. I ser a lot of that kind of work and its linda cute but i apreciate the characters for the bond they had. The final was just perfect, show it completely and justo that, much people was waiting stanley edad and i think how that could effect on ford. Its hurt and terrible like if i lose my sus
