I am not sure how I went this long without posting a drawing of one of my favorite Pokémon of all time. I, like many others, have always liked Charizard. Ash's Charizard was such an iconic character, and the battle agains Entei in the third Pokémon movie (the best Pokémon movie, by the way) solidified Charizard as my favorite Pokémon back when I was a kid. It isn't my favorite Pokémon anymore, that spot is now occupied by Aggron, but I still like Charizard a lot and it is still a top 10 Pokémon to me. I used to like Charizard and Greymon from Digimon so much that my favorite color was orange for a long time lol.

As for the games, most of my memories with Charizard come from Pokémon FireRed and LeafGreen, where I almost always choose it as my starter. It is certainly the best fire type to use in that game despite, maybe, Arcanine. I also used it a lot in Pokémon Red and Blue and in Pokémon X and Y. It is also really fun to use in competitive gen 6 and 7 thanks to its megas. My favorite has always been X due to its Dragon Dance set, although Y is really fun in doubles. Never got to use Gigantamax Charizard since I am not really a VGC guy. It is a bit of a shame that regular Charizard has never been very viable in most gens despite some niche uses in sun teams, but I have heard it is very solid in gen 3 with its Belly Drum set. I hate you Stealth Rock, lol.
