Nah she was actually rescued before she was brought to Jabba's palace. Oola however was not so fortunate.

I always imagined Sienn'rha to be green. But that's probably because I read the book before the prequels came out. So I just went with whatever the expanded universe information stated. Having said this, I think the shade of blue you chose is very pretty and Jessica Alba looks great as a twi'lek.

Thanks. I actually looked through "Tales from Jabba's Palace" when I was making this, and I couldn't find a mention of her skin color anywhere. She is mentioned in "X-wing:The Kryptos Trap" but I didn't have that so I just decided to go with what looked best.

There's no mention of it in "X-wing: The Kryptos Trap" either (I have that book).

Back then there seemed to be alot of flesh toned, grey and green twi'lek around, despite the fact that it was stated, they came in all colours of the rainbow.

So when X-Wing: Iron Fist came out, I took a liking to Dia Passik but was so disappointed when I read an interview with the author online; saying that she was the same colour as Oola! You see in my imagination Dia was blue as rich toned as a diamond.

On a side note, who do you think started the "blue" trend for the prequels? I think it may have been started by the Gella twins but maybe not. They definately inspired the "twin" trend though.

I remember when I was a kid I thought Oola's skin looked like a human's, if a little pale like Bib's. I thought it was the lights in the palace made it look greenish.

It wasn't until the special edition did you see her with a really deep olive green and Bib was still normal looking.

Then in the prequels we see twileks with blue, red, orange even pink.

My theory is Bib is like a twilek albino. He has a genetic mutation that effects the skin leaving it in a plain flesh tone.

Other twi'leks have the fleshy tone not just Fortuna. I believe Oola's half sister Nola Tarkona had a similar skin color.

It might have been the Gella twins, but if I had to put money on it, I would have to say Aayla started it. She didn't have much screen time but her popularity in the comics and the books certainly made her a fanboy favorite. Since then we've seen a lot more blue twi'leks than anything else. I would have tried a different color for this particular piece but I just thought the pale blue looked the best and was the right fit for Sienn's personality.
