Due to Captain Ginyu being in King Cold's body and has trained himself to control King Cold's power and transformation as well as being a better leader of Planet Trade Organization, I think that Ginyu has the potential to achieve his golden form than Frieza. Also, he could train his golden form and the power of his golden form will give Vegito Blue a challenge.

Multiverse started and was well established years before talk of Super Saiyan God was a thing. To include it would mean upscaling the power-scaling and plot points that have been set for Multiverse years ago. Its not feasible...at all. I don't know why people are still clamoring for SSJG to be included in DBM when DBM was well established before its conception.
Beerus's introduction was a fun little cameo and nod to Super. Nothing more.

I wouldn't really call it pleasant surprise. Salgrir would have to go back and retcon and rewrite so much of the plot just to fit with current canon. That's not exactly something I'd look forward too just to accommodate Super into DBM canon.
