I can see this as Swap Sans finding Fem Sans and noticing she was colder than normal, so he grabbed her and to try to warm it up. Fem overthinks sometimes and sees this as 'a couple holding hands' and starts to blush a lot, but she thanks Swap for the gesture. Swap smiles back, happy that Fem is happy.
but that's just one way to interpret this..
