It's not techinically finished, but I'm sick of working on it so it's done. I hate the pants and the skin looks like wax, but whatever. Tell me what you think.Related content

i was re-reading some of your fics at ffn and wondered if you had seen the live action rk movies? you can see them on line at gooddrama, just google:- gooddrama rurouni kenshin - and it will list links to the three movies. it's funny that takeru sato who was cast as kenshin has pouty lips just like your kenshin.

I really like his face; everything looks really great, I just think personally, his legs are a bit out of proportion to the rest of him. They look a bit small. For the rest, love it.

it looks great! the hakama should have much more fabric, they should be quite billowy. but other than that; he is. quite. muscular. isn't he?

Yeah, I hate the way the hakama look. If my hubby's were done, I would have had him pose in them. LOL Yeah, I made him kinda butch, huh. That's why I had to make him Battousai, rather than Kenshin. XD

Thankies <3 LOL I relied rather heavily on a few references for the body. Unfortunately, it was a nude, and I had no example for the pants >.<; LOL I've actually made Hakama before, and I'm working on a pair right now for my hubby. I'll probably go in again in a year and fix the issues...

The colors and lighting look great. It looks like whatever you used to paint this wouldn't allow for fine detail in the hair. This isn't digital, is it?

Yeah, it's digital. I just wasn't working with a huge scale. I also prefer to keep the medium looking more like I used a paintbrush instead of a paint program. It was done in Painter X.
