A realistic rendition of Kenshin during his final battle with Shishio. This is when he evokes the power of his swordsman spirit instead of reverting to battousai.Yes...I'm missing the wound he received from Shishio's first attack with the gunpowder...but I couldn't stand to ruin that mass of manly chest!!

fantastic shading! the posture is wonderful, this whole picture is superb! However, his neck almost looks like it was slit open, even though those are just some minor cuts/ shading. You certainly made him hot though!

haha, i see what you mean. i guess it sort of was cut open, which is why he has bandages wrapped around it. oh, it is not difficult to make kenshin hot

I would make a more detailed comment about how amazing this is, and how I think it truly captures Kenshin's character in a believable realistic light...but I have to go back to doing crunches <<

haha, yea that pretty much sums up his hair. lol. someone also said it resembles david bowie's hair from labyrinth, which i thought was also pretty accurate.

Very lovely. I love the way you shade. though it's a realistic randition, the shadeing helps keep that connection with Kenshin's animated self.
The way you've drawn his haori shreded, very nice. I myself have a hard time drawing torn clothing, so I admire that.

This is such an amazing work of art... the physique is so accurate and the expression on his face looks so in-the-moment of the scene. Just looking at his eyes gave me a shiver because I remembered that episode. You really are amazing at shading-- it all looks so awesome. Great job!
