Yeah... ^-\\ I was *hoping* I wouldn't have to explain why that bandanna is so important to Kenzan.

The same way he died. He was mauled to death by a wild animal (he seems to have a lot of trouble with that in the show, doesn't he?)
Actually, if you look closely, you can see that two of his fingers and some of the flesh on his arm and torso had to be flat-out REPLACED because the wild animal (I have yet to decide *what* animal it was,) actually managed to eat some of him before he came back and... well... let's just say the *hunter* became the *hunted.*
And yes, that *does* mean that they took two fingers and several square inches of skin off some dead person (who *wasn't* coming back) and put it on him.

Ahh! Thank you for explaining it to me! We don't really use that term where I live, so I never would've been able to figure it out on my own... TTw\\

The brain-eating and medical varieties can. Flesh-eaters and Voodoo-type zombies can't. (My best friend is OBSESSED with zombies and knows pretty much everything there is to know about them... As a result, I know quite a bit, too... whether I like it or not... ^w\\; )

I've never heard of Voo-doo zombies.
Mind u, zombies give me nightmares! The only zombie movie i've ever watched is 'Shaun of the Dead'. I've seen my brother play Dead Rising and it did freak me out a bit when i first saw it.
So really, zombies for me only appear in my dreams. If they were real, i would panic a bit!

Ahh, I see.
Well, Voodoo and Medical zombies are very much a real thing. I should know, seeing as I actually count as one. (Medical)
Voodoo: Zombies revived through voodoo; usually react to physical stimuli, and can, on occasion, make verbal sounds, but otherwise ignore the world around them.
Medical: The most common; these are peope whose hearts stopped, but then, for one reason or another, started beating again.

Also, while the "Flesh-eaters" and "Brain-suckers" are ficticious, "Voodoos" and "Medicals" are very much real, due to historical facts and true eyewitness accounts.

Understandable. Most people find that stuff hard to believe. (most who *do* believe the accounts of Voodoos and Medicals consider them "Miracles," which they are not. It's just the will to survive combined with medicine.)
But it's the definite truth! Medical zombies like myself are where the term "saved by the bell" came from! Back during the time of the Black Plague, people would show all the signs of being dead, and so were buried. (It was never very surprising if someone in their late teens or twenties dropped dead, due to the plague.)
Then, when the coffins were dug up again so the grave could be re-used, there would be scratch marks *inside* the coffins, and the corpses' nails would be all broken or bent back. It was only then that people realized the ones they'd been burying could still come back to life! (This can't happen anymore, since people get either embalmed or cremated after death.)
After that, people would tie a string to the corpse's wrist before burial, and tie the other end to a small bell above ground, and after the coffin was nice and safe underground, someone would be given the job of sitting by the grave and waiting for the bell to ring (this is where the term "graveyard shift" comes from.)
If the person in the coffin came back to life, their movement would cause the bell to ring, and the graveyard workers could dig the coffin back up and save the person's life. Hence "saved by the bell."

(*raises hand*) My heart stopped beating once when I was 3. It started up again about ten minutes later. Yes, we do exist. (*feels insulted for some reason*)

What makes it especially cute is that Saiou doesn't know just how much danger he's in.
