Dedicated to those I'm about to leave....EDIT: changed the colors up, added more color variation. Added more stars, less noisy stars. Edited the flare thingy and redid the text. tried to blend the textures better. I like this one a lot better.
EDIT II: took some more advice, toned down the upper atmosphere and changed the text

Very nice! I'd say that the clouds could use some toning down, its a bit hard to see the planet texture, but what I can see looks good.

liking the planet, but it could do with a bit more detail (just a notch)
other than that i dont have much else to say - this is a fairly simple piece, so i guess the ciritque is going to have to be pretty simple

it's close enough, man. i understand that you're not at the level you wish you were. the atmosphere looks like it's only on the other side of the planet. you'll get it next time, man. i wouldn't worry about it too much.

sexy planet! background stars and "dust" are pretty sweet as well, but since advanced critique is encouraged ill just say that a few tiny parts look a little too much like photoshop brush/eraser marks and less like awesome space
