Description
This is my piece for the Memory Project. It's a project where primarily students take a photo of an orphan from somewhere in the world and create a portrait for them. It's a really awesome project because most of these kids have never had a photo of themselves much less a portrait, and in some places, only famous people get their portrait done.

This little guy's name is Janas and he's from Rwanda. And I'm the person in my art class who has to be really different in what I do, so I decided to do a digital painting.

It's funny, because once we found out about it, people at my school signed up by the dozens to do this project. Some didn't want to do a portrait, but the sponsored someone who was instead. We have got over 100 people to sign up in just a couple weeks. =3
