Pencil sketch of Mozenrath and Xerxes. Mozenrath is probably one of those people who studies, works, and forgets to eat. So Xerxes is getting just a little concerned at his master's forgetfulness. Meh, fluff. XDIt's been a long time since I did anything in pencil. o.O I'm surprised I still can.

The amount of detail in this!! Amazingly well executed, and I love the little story behind it. You always wonder what he must get up to when he's not plotting world domination, and this scene is so in character too! I love it

Well, after watching the Batman movies, I loved Ra's Al Ghul. He's one of the most complex Batman characters out there. Since he's from where Aladdin might've lived, he is old friends with Mozie. He saved his life by resurrecting him with the Lazarus pits. Mozenrath thanked him and since then, been old pals. In the RolePlay we're doing now, Mozenrath is invited to Ra's Al Ghul's home and he offers his daughter, Talia, to Mozenrath as a bride. Mozenrath doesn't really care, but finds she is quite beautiful and marries her. He feels he owes something to his old friend. So far, there isn't anything much else to the fic... yet!

But the details are amazing. Totally makes the piece. Especially the throne. I've been wanting to draw something with Mozenrath on a throne, but any throne I draw will never feel good enough after seeing this one.

Wow the detail in this is astonishing. Usually people just skimp on the background details but you definitely didn't. I like the illustration of Mozenrath's study, looks appropriate with all the books and the skeleton of some animal on the table. Moze himself looks very true to canon. Great job.
