Joel Zimmerman and his cats Professor Meowingtons and Miss Nyancat.Joel's been depressed lately. I mean he always is, but it seems like it's worsened lately.
Joel's sort of... important to me. I think it's cuz we've both been depressed all our lives.
Normally I wouldn't do this shit for a fucking celeb, but I drew this in hopes of cheering him up a bit.
I'm gonna try to send him a link or something, but if you know of any way I can reach him to show him this picture, please let me know.

It's fine. You can commission me anytime but I only do it for actual money. I'm always shot on cash because I pay a lot to my school every month, but especially now since we just came back to our apartment yesterday and someone had broken in through the window and stolen most of our stuff.

To be honest I haven't been all that... obsessive with Joel for quite a while and this picture is about one year old, if I remember correctly. I made this picture because Joel seemed to be having a hard time, as he sometimes does, and I wanted to try and cheer him up by showing that all the stuff he does for his fans (streams, tumblr, replies, whatever) has caused a vast portion of his fanbase to care for him as a person rather than a celeb. So I made this as a present for him and a reminder that we care about the person underneath the helmet.
So what I'm amazed by is that he still remembers this picture. I take it as proof that he got my message, but of course I cannot be sure because I haven't had a chance to talk to him.
