I wonder how it would be looking at it without knowing what happened there; anyway, very well composed, the feeling you get is that there's still something left ( i don't mean the subject itself) , but with a more distant view.

excellent shot - a reminder of what happened sometime ago - they had some in Belgium where I used to live and they were just there covered in grass or weeds - with gates some open some closed - reminders of the war - just gave me such an eerie feeling when I saw them - dunno why but they always give me goosebumps

Very emotional capture. As you may well know this year is the 6oth anniversary of the end of the war. Many of the people involved are no longer with us, and while they're personal involvement maybe sinking, like the bunkers, the memory of what they gave lives on.
The turblent sky reminisces of that brooding day in June 1945, but they are still prefect.

Photography is a tool only to capture what you feel. Sure you need some technics and rudiments, but that's not enough if you don't anything to tell or to show.
