I just read you exposed it around 5mn. oO Quite cool, I didn't know it is possible to get beautiful pictures like this by exposing 5mn ^^
I see, I have to learn a lot about long exposures.

It looks so calm and innocent. Makes me want to visit Scotland again.

How wonderfull! Perfect composition and attention to detail as always. I have been playing around with some long exposures such as this and was wonderfull how long you would expose a scene such as this?

Well I think around 5 mn. But it depends of so many things, some can be achived in 30s while others 20 mn.

very cool
i love how simple it is
great use of long exposure
well lit and great contrast too
whyd you choose to have the.. thing not sure what to call it.. come out of the area near the corner but not the actual corner?
interesting choice i like it
good work

Because for it would have broken the inner right lower part, here it embraces the sea.

You really like the whole long-structure-extending-into-the-water thing, don't you? But you can certainly make it look good, so I'm not complaining. All these elements I find in almost all your gallery on DA - the asymmetrical sky, water, and the darker structure extending about halfway out. The horizon, too. Always a good thing to stream to, and look at.

Hey Dennis, is it possible to post a simple tutorial/guideline on how you work with your colors? Your shots have such a new fresh dynamics thanks to the amazing colors you produce.
Great shot as usual and fantastic composition. Looking forward to more.

For silver toned, it's chemical. For digital one, even scanned films, this is post-processed to achieve almost the same result. You have many free curves/software available from the net to reproduce selenium, gold or platinum toning.
