So it's December 16, 2022 - the premiere of the long-awaited film Avatar 2: The Way of the Water. In honor of this, I decided to redraw my old art with characters that I drew back in 2009-2010. Then I saw the movie Avatar by James Cameron. And literally fell in love with this film, this world and this wonderful story. I hope to see the second part in the next few days.)))

So who are these characters? Yutsiri (Yutsi) and Chasey. In the beginning, just characters randomly inspired by watching a movie. And then came the idea of a little story. ...I don't know if I'll ever be able to implement it the way I wanted, or not... but here's what I came up with.

The war between humans and Navi is over. The military and representatives of the mining corporation were expelled from the planet. But scientists and part of the colonists remained on Pandora and are now re-learning to live in the world, side by side with the Navi. It takes about 14-15 years after the war. Events unfold around two characters: Yutsiri and Chase - the children of Pandora. They are both 14 years old.

Chasey - One of the first human children born on Pandora. A cheerful and very inquisitive girl who always strives for discoveries and new adventures. He dreams of finally getting out of the colony and seeing the wild world of Pandora with his own eyes. Her parents are scientists who once worked for the corporation, and now they are actively establishing friendly ties with the Navi tribes.

Yutsiri is a young huntress from the Navi tribe. Strong, harsh, but not without love for the beautiful and all living things. Her parents are warriors who at one time personally learned what human cruelty is. They know that everything has changed now, that the colonists want peace. But, should they be trusted? Yutsiri and members of her tribe are careful, they watch and are in no hurry to accept the newcomers who brought so much trouble again.

One day, Chasey and her parents go on a diplomatic mission to the Navi tribe. Yutsiri, meanwhile, is preparing for her initiation - the day when she can prove that she is worthy of being considered a hunter and a full-fledged member of her tribe. But it turns out that Chase accidentally breaks the initiation and Yutsiri fails his test in disgrace. After that, the leader of the tribe demanded people to leave their lands, and Yutsiri became even more angry with the people, and with Chase in the first place.

Chasey and her parents take off in a helicopter, but are soon attacked by flying predators. Chasey fell out of the helicopter and lost consciousness. And her parents, along with a helicopter, crashed in an unknown direction.

Chasey is found by hunters and brought back to his tribe. When the girl comes to her senses, she finds out what happened. The leader of the tribe makes a decision - the child must be returned home to his own. But this must be done personally by Yutsiri, who is very dissatisfied with the task entrusted to her.

And so, the children of Pandora will need to go through a dense forest, meet various dangers and reach the human settlement. And besides, Yutsiri and Chasey will have to understand for themselves whether they can live in peace, whether their peoples have a future, and whether a person and a Navi can become friends.

That's it... I'm planning, while there is inspiration, to make a series of art dedicated to Yuciri and Chase. Let's see what happens.)
