Remember those Gaangvatar doodles i made last year? Well the other night i decided to do some more doodling based on the idea of the Gaang as Avatars (or Dreamwalkers as the Na'vi call them):

1. Aang hangs out with a Prolemuris which reminds him of another limb membrane having friend that starts with M and ends with omo

2. Zuko and Katara have a close encounter with a Thanator which will not end up well for one of the parties (btw sorry for accidentally making the former two so fugly)

3. Sokka decides to try his luck on Ikran riding but he forgot he's still at rookie level and on top he accidentally took the one from the chieftain's wife.

4. Speaking of said chieftain, one interesting aspect about this whole Dreamwalker thing is that since you leave your old body behind you also leave with them any physical deformities or handicaps (which is why i doodled Zuko without his iconic facial scar). This makes the fact that Toph finally being able to see one of the highest moments of her entire life filled to the brim with conflicting emotions. As someone who's also familiar with having a major physical setback in his life Jake Sully easily bonds over with her and brings comfort on these conflicting times (granted Toph is well known to make due rather well without the need to see but suddenly gaining physical vision after spending your entire life without it is still kind of a big deal dontcha think?)
