Yep.
I never realized how much your eyes resemble that of a bird of prey.
I won't hood you, but you look like you might have needed that here.

My eye was darkenned a lot in this to add the mystery.
You have some great ideas.

Dark emotion showed here. Having it in B&W adds to the sinistre atmosphere, but you did a good job on having it quite soft with all those greys.
I also like that the main attention is drawn to the left side, the composition of all the elements is great.
And... keep on going!

Thanks very much.
I like B&W a lot and have always been disappointed with the dull blacks and greys that I have acheived. I recently read a book about digital B&W photo processing and learned how to make the tones cleaner from that.

awesome manip... dark it is! It has a lot of interesting elements. I really like how you seem to be looking directly at the bird... and also the barely visible people from the grave stock

I don't understand how to do manipulations with stock images.... what kind of program do you use?

Hi - sorry about the delay - my stock account got a DD so things have been a bit hectic!!
I use Serif photoplus x5. Not the easiest program to learn but it works like a dream. If you can't afford photoshop it is a good alternative. I havb heard GIMP is also very good. Photoshop elements is a bit limited might be a good start.

This is very interesting. It is always fun to layer photos and get the look you want. Once I get my big computer, I will (hopefully) be able to put my PS 9 to good use. I have been waiting a LOOOONG time.
In this, I like the way you have multiple images sort of curling around the left side and the right side, while it contains images, isn't quite as busy and gives the eye a rest.
Very nice!

thanks very much - it has been a steep learning curve but i am getting there.
I did initially have 2 of the crosses but removed the one on the right as it wasn't working - the joy of not merging the layers too soon (a mistake I have made with a previous image and regretted it!) meant I could remove it.
I am using Serif Photoplus 5 which works like a dream on my laptop. It is a pain to learn as you cannot get books for it, therefore have to use photoshop stuff then refer to the help menus to figure out how photoplus does the same thing. But it works in a similar-ish way and is a lot more powerful than Elements. Wish i could afford The full photoshop - but as you say the computer needs to be better too!!! This is an expensive business!

I will have to look into that program and see if I can muddle through. I am so used to PS that it might be do-able.
Yes, creating Art of any kind can run into some money, it seems. What's great it when it starts paying off!!
I wish you lots of "Paying off"!
