On June 26th. Something really amazing happened.Same-Sex marriage was legalized in all 50 states in the US.
After I found out, I burst into tears of joy and immediately called my gf. She was half asleep and didn't fully understand what I was trying to say but I finally got it out and was like "Bitch, we can get married if we want! It's legal in all 50 states now!" and she just started sobbing. I never though I'd see the day where it would be legal in the state of TX let alone in ALL 50 states in the US.
I am happy to stay that this is one positive step forward for the LGBTQIA community and I hope we keep moving forward!

Aww first off this is so cute, but secondly, I am so happy for you. I was shocked to hear an entire country banned people from falling in love and taking away their rights to marry the same gender.
