Word reached priderock quickly about the death of Mufasa and Simba. Something didn't feel right, however. The lady's of Mufasa's court, highly renowned for their hunting and tracking skills, felt that all was not what it seemed. They found Mufasa's remains below in the gorge. He was severely trampled, and had what looked to be hyena bites across his body. Simba was no where to be found. They tracked his footprints to the outer rims of the pridelands, where Scar intervened. "This is my kingdom now. Let the dead rest in peace." he snarled as he told them to give up their search and turn back. The lioness' were angry and highly confused. That was when they decided to leave the pridelands and search down the one who could stop all of this. They had to find Uhuro and Kasim. Only they could stop their little brother, and set things right. They took-off, never looking back.

Another bit of story for you. Some of the over looked ladies in my story, The Ladies of Mufasa's Court. They were the best huntresses in the land! Kasim and Uhuro you will get to see more of soon! They are the eldest brothers of Mufasa and Taka. They were never interested in ruling, but don't take to kindly to word of Taka/Scar killing Mufasa off.
