Client: In House Project
Creative Brief:
Breeding ground is an unusual community type site that is targeted to educating, encouraging and combating the fight against malaria through young adults. An idea inspired by Flick Off that is aimed at educating the first world countries of the treat malaria poses.
Creative Solution:
To make the site thoroughly engaging and community based where members can be part of groups that not just spread the word of malaria but help malaria stricken countries with small donations.
The colours are both vibrant but at the same time it doesn't look too cheerful. Clean navigation for user ability with stats. There's much more work to do here so it's not done but this is the main page.

i like the design very much. the structure is very well put together...i was thinking about the fold for where the information will start on the screen (do you have to scroll or not to see important news).. but i guess it should work on 1024x768 screens

the colors are a bit bland and not cheery as you said. the navigation buttons on the side should be back to back IMO instead of a gap. but i LOVE the design structure.

Nice design and I personally like the color scheme you've chosen to represent your message layout.
The big mosquito is a bit disturbing to the image though - I guess you can change that to something that shows how Malaria can be prevented. That would be more relevant I guess.
Otherwise a fairly done job

The point of the mosquito is to be exactly that, disturbing. It's suppose to represent that in certain areas, mosquitoes is a mean giant. It's not suppose to look nice or fancy.

Yea its not supposed to look nice or fancy, but I guess the whole point of making that website is to send a message across that such a group exists which helps people understand malaria yea?
