Description
This was a quick sketch I did of Red Lantern's Atrocitus and Dex-Starr. I started to do a color version but I couldn't get it how I liked it. Nevertheless, I've been experimenting with a cartoony style for regular comic book characters and so far, I like the results.Related content

OMG the cat!! BWA HA HA that's awesome!! I can't tell if the cat is upset to be wearing the costume or humiliated by the over-zealousness of his bipedal steed. Awesome nonetheless. XD

Both the alien and the cat belong to the Red Lantern Corps. They're like the Green Lantern Corps but instead of willpower, they draw strength from rage. So, the kitty had to look suitably mean. Thanks for the compliment though. I'm actually proud of this one. I want to do a color version but my coloring skills are really simple and I didn't like what I came up with the first go around.

Haha! Thanks. I've really been practicing on back-to-basics cartooning and I think this one came out quite well considering Atrocitus has a complex head. And with Dex, his expression makes me think he took a bite out of a lemon.

Thank you! That's what I was trying to do. It took some trial and error to get Atrocitus anywhere in the ballpark of "cute". Love the guy but...

For some reason, I find the idea of Atrocious being like one of those stereotypical cat ladies to be extremely hilarious.
