High resolution sprites for Skellobits and Spiky Skellobits, ice elemental bone enemies from Super Paper Mario.
Skellobits serve as the grunts for the fallen Bonechill, perhaps indicating their origins are closely knit. While the humanoids seen above lack true magical ice, their spears' cold metal thaw some openings in whomever they jab, by way of stabbing them. Red Skellobits, of course, are even tougher than the normal blues.
Skellobits have no other known appearances, though Super Smash Bros Ultimate including past classic Paper Mario artwork as Spirit characters and a certain newcomer having one of their classic PM-only palettes for an attack suggests the door is not closed for at least a small appearance. In fanon, Skellobits appear in the recut of the Mario & Luigi crossover. While they're still enemies, there's another role they play in the story...
Like other SPM remasters, the Skellobits seen above have more rounded designs so they fit in more with Paper Mario.
