Hi there all my friends, I have not been active on DA for more than three months or so.The main reason is that I had an heart operation. I am aright now – got some new stuff inside me and a scar that runs down my chest.Art and also aking have just not seemed very exiting. But yesterday I took some photos – and then I just could not keep my self from digital manipulations. Mire or less a mix of a photo from a bridge (sweden) and a photo of a ceiling (germany). Kind of strange. Hope you like it!

Good news! I love your work & am glad you survived; I, myself, have too many scars to count. They each mark an escape from death- wear them proudly as badges of life conquering death and Art Ruling Fate or something like that. You have been through a life changing event, reminder of your mortality, etc., etc. But your love of art will win and make you strong again. I speak as one who knows live versus death in a hospital too well, too often. VERY HAPPY- I JUST FOUND YOUR WORK & LOVE IT!!

Thank you so much Julie for your kind words and your empathy for a stranger. I do hope you dont have to go back to hospital care once more. I will try to wear my scars as well as I can. And you yours. I am also very happy that you seemd to like my work so much. Most artists, and I am no exception often have a hard time finding good qualities in our work, we only see the what is wrong, so when someone responds on a deeper lever (i think you did) it is always very encouraging! for you: all the best. Now I will answer the your other notes!

I am so happy to have conveyed my empathy for your & your work. I just went back and looked again, and it truly touches something deep within me. Maybe you could stop finding faults and scars in your work long enough to realize how awesome it is to people like me. Am I missing all those "unwanted" flaws or are you missing the good (brilliant) qualities? Take a moment and just appreciate what you create! Just one moment- not too hard...

the circle could be the moon on your plate...
You know, I usually keep a cup of coffer on my balcony (with the sky above) to capture the moon inside my brown coffee (as a reflection) - that's why, I suppose, moon stays wake up all the night

I do like the photo - the two images went well together. Growth and limits - geometry and organic shape.
Spring is in the air here too - though last night we had a few cm. of wet snow. I don't plan to shovel, except for the steps, should be able to drive right over it.

Oh I think I would survive a bear hug from you. You are the gentle kind, Thanks – the trees are realy verry messy. Weeping willows! So you can see that the backgrund have gone darker in second picture. The ice is melting and getting thinner. Soon I will be able to bike! Some place still got ice and puddles of melting water. But a good time for taking photos of bare branched trees. When the leaves come they do look very different.
Soon snow will be gone where you live too.

in our age, we should get up every morning and thank for simple health... and maybe for some other few small and simple joys, here and there, along the road...
I'm very pleased to see you getting better and better... are you already go out for some walks, or it's too cold?

The sun is shining, the snow is melting, spring is in the air. I got rushed to the hospital in ambulance. I had gone to my doctor because I thought I had a real bad flu. My heart sounded bad, the doctor said, so of In a blue light ambulance i went. This was absurd, was I going to die? Very soon I was to be informed I was in no big danger. But even do (maybe) death reached out for me, I never was truly aware of it. Never scared. So I experienced no gratitude. I was more or less trying to come with being bloody tired. After the operation: same thing: tired and some pains in the chest. Now I am better and somehow coming of spring (I hope it will stay) makes me more happy than recovering. But of course you are right. Every day can be our last so enjoy it while you can.
