for few days, late at evening I've been reading "Brave new world" of Huxley - a SF about a super-controled society - when embryos are sorted and programed to be what they want to be - everything is planned: number of male, female etc... and when the number of female is reached, rest of embryos are injected with male hormones resulting hermaphrodite with beard or other secondary effects
