"No one really knows where Ethan came from; he just appeared out of nowhere and asserted himself, moving in with an elderly couple at the suburbs. He refuses to speak about his past, focusing mostly on becoming stronger, never disclosing what for to anyone. His secretive tendencies didn't stop people from getting close to him, however. Being able to manipulate plant life as he pleases, he became a valuable member of the crew. Outside of missions he prefers to tend to his grandparents' flowershop without using his powers, as, according to him, 'magic can be unstable if not handled properly'."
