I like the final effect, to be honest. while I personally don't photoshop my art,  I can absolutely appreciate your style and work.
in this particular instance, I LOVE the eyes. you have developed a "me" style ,which is most important. the liking of art - it varies from people to people.
good work girl!

As beautiful as a thousand sunsets...

I do not believe in the divine, but Masha'Allah does indeed convey what english lacks a word to say.

Contrary to DraakeT's comment I think the lighting is amazing as is the coloring, the hues of black, gold, and rich browns work very well together, of course anyone can improve on anything they do but in my opinion this is your own personal and unique style which makes it all the better.

Hi Desert,
how are u?
About the work, u know i love photoretouch and u know i dont like tell lie, about all these works because its boring and wrong tell lie to make someone happy. So let me start to write something based on my experience, taste and in general my personal opionion about this work.
First of all the shoot is really great...this is a powerful portrait..but the postproduction absolutely, not convince me! why? because for me the final effect is too forced...and that yellowish enhanche this forced effect....U have used too much contrast and for this reason the structure has been destroyed.
Keep always in mind 1 important thing.......Natural way is always the best way!!! If u want create particular effect u can use them with very very low %!!! When u want use an effect at 100%...stop u...and use it starting by 1%...if 1% not is enough, then, try 2% or 3% etcc...ok?
At the end, this shoot have a great potential....If u want i can help u to understand how work it. If u want u can post the original shoot and ill tell u, some of mine personal technique about how work this.

hey, im fine good! nd u?
yeah i totally understand. I just need to balance the yellows and the blues a little bit better.its just the natural lighting is yellowly and i have very tan skin so when all that clashes it becomes too tanish.
thanks for the critique. I'll take your advice into consideration.
