..............................A thoroughbred horse gallops over grassy, wildflower covered hills in the morning light. It has a chestnut colored coat with three white socks and a white star and narrow stripe on its head. Its brown mane and tail flutter in the wind as it runs.
Behind the powerful animal, the sun is rising and the dawn light illuminates the clouds as well as creates a rim outlining the horse.
I actually based this horse off of the legendary racing horse Secretariat. It has a similar coat, and the pose is inspired by the statue on his memorial.
I made this using a variety of digital art techniques including 3D Rendering, digital painting, and image enhancement.

Amazing work, I like how the hair of the horse 'moves' it adds dynamics to this piece.
I just feel like this dynamics would be expressed even better is the 'back legs' of the horse didn't actually touch the ground but were a little bit above it (after reading the description the horse kind of looks like it is a very realistic statue). I don't mean to hate here, I'm obviously no expert, I just want to express my feelings about this piece.
