In the Lestrange crypt, there is a niche with a handful of ashes Rodolphus Accio'd after the Ministry burned Voldemort and Bellatrix's bodies. Rodolphus shares the secret with Delphi and gives her her mother's necklace. (The inscription isn't clear due to the angle, but it reads "The Dark Lord Voldemort", "Bellatrix Lestrange," and "In Glory").

I really like the thought of Voldemort and Bellatrix being buried together. It just feels right to me.Β

Me too. I don't like the idea of either of them being buried/burned alone, but especially Tom. His whole life was a conflict between wanting to be connected and needing to protect himself.

Thank you! And yes, I like to think that whatever happened, they ended together.

Wonderful picture! Love your Delphie.
Β And the idea that Voldemort and Bellatrix were burned together sounds quite plausible.

Thank you so much!

And yes, I definitely think whatever happened to Voldemort, would have happened to Bella along with him. I sort of always think of Mussolini and Clara Petacci here. And they would have been so, so careful to dispose of him completely, and seen by a fair number of people so it couldn't be claimed he wasn't dead. They would have been worried about the Death Eaters trying again to resurrect him, and they probably don't really know for sure what the true limits of dark magic are, since there's a limit to which they can study it and Voldemort had really pushed the limits of it as well.
