Hee hee, thanks! They can be angels or devils, and they decided to be sweet here. Cats are always fun, I think; they are like kids to us!

For sure! There are people who bath their cats, though. The vet asked me if I washed mine, because they look so clean. I thought that she was surely kidding!

It DOES look like she's whispering in his ear. THey look so loving and sweet here, but just a few minutes after the lick fest, they started fighting!

Yes, it's a riot to watch. The little sister jumped on big brother's back this morning and bit the back of his neck. She wouldn't let go no matter how much he yelled, but he was finally able to ditch her. It amazes me that he lets her get away with murder. He weighs 13.5 lbs, and she's only 9 lbs, and theoretically, is no match for him. But she wins more than she loses!

Hee hee, aren't they silly kitties? One minute they're licking and grooming, the next minute biting and hissing. They're hilarious!

Thank you, and thanks for the fave! I guess cats are the same everywhere. I expect my two to get into some arguments this morning because I gave them catnip. Freddie bogarts the catnip, and Princess spends her time trying to outwit him!

Mine like it once in awhile. If it's left out for a couple of days, they get bored. I give them some every month or so.

Oh they love each other! Most of their fighting is play-fighting, I'm pretty sure. No one ever seems to get hurt! They're each other's best friend.

Cats usually play-fight. No, it doesn't mean anything. Cats like to play. That's all it is. I love it when animals play!

Think I've probably owned cats for around 40 years. We're down to one. I don't know what we will do after that.

That's a manageable size! I like two, because they tend to play more with each other. We're duds when it comes to playing, sad to say.

Well, we're sort of duds. We can play with them. They do enjoy it.
We are now down to one cat. He likes our company. He tried to get friendly with the other cat, but she refused. We were upset with her, but there's nothing we could do about it. She wouldn't have anything to do with him. So they never became friends. We lost her yesterday. We don't know what was wrong, but she was very old.

That's very sad. I guess you must miss her. I hate to lose a cat; it's like losing a human family member to me. I haven't gotten over Buddy's death and don't think I ever will.

Yes, I do miss her. Whenever I go into the places where she liked to hang out, I think of her. She was such a gentle, intelligent cat. I think I always will miss her, though I do get over it.

I know how you feel. I still miss my cat, Buddy and always will. I think because I had to provide such intensive medical care for him, it created a much stronger bond. I had to give him200 ccs of subcutaneous fluids every other day for his failing kidneys; he had twice daily insulin shots; he had meds for constipation; and I had to measure urine glucose with test strips as often as I could. There was no getting "sick on the job" for me; I had to do these things even when I got the flu. Hubby helped some, but.... Even though it was hard on me, it also made me much closer to Buddy. I even came to believe he might last forever. But of course he didn't. On November 12, he will have been dead for a year. Seems like yesterday.

I think you are right about the intensive care. We tend to take our cats for granted if they don't need that kind of attention. And I certainly know what you mean about yesterday. I think the first year is the hardest. You'll have fond and warm memories.
